In 1972 Billy Mize taped two pilots of the "Billy Mize Music Hall", which he hoped to sell into national syndication but it was not picked up. Rock'n'Roll Hall of Famer and Elvis' lead guitarist, James Burton heads up Billy's house band. Merle Haggard appeared in the first pilot and Marty Robbins appeared in the second.
